Healthy Morning Muffins

This is the excerpt for your very first post.


Each morning  it is important  to  eat  breakfast. It is a nutritious way to   start your day. Here is a healthy recipe for a morning muffin that I think you will enjoy.




  1. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas 4.
  2. In a mixing bowl combine wholemeal flour, oatmeal, baking powder, cinnamon, grated carrots, raisins, chopped walnuts, coconut and the grated apple.
  3. In a second bowl mix the yoghurt, banana and baking soda, once combined add the eggs, melted butter and vanilla essence.
  4. Blend well and then stir into the flour mixture until the two are combined.
  5. Don’t overbeat.
  6. Bake in muffin tins for approx. 20 minutes.
